What a pity, …
I’ve just seem that my blog wasn’t on the main’s blog list… So no one can check my faults… But I’ve dessided to make my assignment.
Many blog are already corrected, however, I found on solene’s blog mistakes:
“I selected the videos which are important for us. This is short videos, with many useful keyword.” I think is better to say “I selected videos which are important to us. Those are short videos, with many useful kaywords.”

Hi,
This time I want to post a beautiful story. I give you the lowdown : we had only 20 minutes to do it. The team was composed of 5 big and smart brains, camille B, camille D, Sebastien, Gabrielle and mine.
Each person in the group speaks. The order is : First Camille D, then Sebastien, followed by Camille B, then me, and to finish Gabrielle ended the story.
Our wonderful story is about an alien who has been arrived 200 years ago.

Last week, on my way back home, I met a man who told me his neighbour was an alien. According to him, this alien didn’t like the pressure of his job on his planet so he decided to take a break.
He arrived in Washington during the American Independence War. It was a bit of a shock so he moved to France. Unfortunately, the French people were also fighting against their government at that time.
He found he did not like rioting because his extra-terrestrial education hasn’t prepared him to it. He eventually settled in North Vancouver and opened his own translation center.
After 200 years on Earth, dealing with Human beings everyday, he still has trouble understanding our social standards. People there weren’t used to his blue skin and were a bit scared of his 5 legs.
On the other hand, he was successful at using his alien skills to promote his company, and he’s now multi-billionaire.
Or maybe that man was just drunk…

Today I went for a haircut. My barber talks a lot. Sometimes he even stops cutting just to talk, which I find mildly annoying. On the other hand I am always entertained for 30 minutes while he cuts my hair. He does a good job and charges me 18 dollars, which is not the cheapest, but not the most expensive, haircut in Vancouver.
He told me that he came to Canada as a 16 year old, 20 years ago. He went to hair dressing school and then worked for a chain of hair salons for 5 years, in different locations in the city. He got to know the personalities of different kinds of clients. He found he did not like working in the heavily Chinese district of Richmond because, in his words, the customers would arrive late and expect to be served right away. If they were not served immediately, they assumed that the customer who was being served in their place had paid extra. He did not like the pressure of that situation.
He eventually opened his own shop in North Vancouver. He said that he made sure to learn about all the subjects that his clients were interested in, from fly fishing to the stock market. He knew that if customers liked him, they would come back.
After 20 years in Canada, dealing daily with English speaking Canadian clients, his English is just terrible. His pronunciation, use of words, structure, you name it, are all quite poor. When he talked about a leading politician and his wife, “he” and “she” were regularly used wrong. I had trouble understanding whom he was talking about. People who are not used to Chinese accents must have trouble understanding him. His English is poor even by the standards of his native Hong Kong.
Just being immersed in the language and talking the language will not necessarily improve you. You need to want to improve. You need to have a deliberate program of improvement. You need to listen.
On the other hand, he was successful at building up a customer base, and did not seem to feel inhibited in any way by his poor English. He was a communicator, although a better talker than a listener. I have not suggested to him that he join The Linguist.

This finite characteristic of projects stands in sharp contrast to processes, or operations, which are permanent or semi-permanent functional work to repetitively produce the same product or service. In practice, the management of these two systems is often found to be quite different, and as such requires the development of distinct technical skills and the adoption of separate management philosophy.
The primary challenge of project management is to achieve all of the goals of the project charter while adhering to three out of the four classic project constraints some time referred to as the “triple constraints” The four constrainst are defined as scope, time, cost and quality.
